In 1876, the Ring of Fire gang were busy making the West ‘wild’ again, cutting a trail of death and mayhem from California to Missouri—until one man dared to stand against them. He was August Moon, a bounty hunter with more interest in revenge than in collecting bounties. He’d been hunting the gang for the last fifteen years—them and their notorious leader, a man who called himself ‘Scratch’, but one who Moon believed was the Devil himself.
Fifteen years ago, Scratch gunned down August Moon’s older brother Elijah, murdered by a bullet meant for him. Now Moon’s consumed by the righteous fire of vengeance, and relentlessly pursues the Ring of Fire gang across the West. Armed with the devil’s own gun, no one can match Moon in a gunfight. No one, that is, except maybe ol’ Scratch himself.
